Fort Ebey State Park Fall Sunset Session

The first time I met this beautiful family, baby girl was in mama’s belly! Now she’s a vibrant, bubbling little babe and the light of mama’s eye.

I met Katelyn and her gorgeous fam at Fort Ebey State Park for a lovely (and windy!) fall sunset session earlier this season. One of my favorite things about meeting at Fort Ebey is that there are often paragliders floating above the cliffs, sometimes landing on the field in front of the gun battery.

And as long as the kids aren’t looking up the whole night (and no one lands on top of us!), it provides a fun footnote to a lovely evening.

Katelyn was one of my first clients to use my styling service, and I L-O-V-E the gorgeous dress she found. Not only did it have lace and details, but the shape was so beautiful on her and the back was as gorgeous as the front. And it didn’t lose much beauty with a chunky sweater pulled over (did I mention the wind?). Baby girl was stealing the show in her baby jumper too, which again is a summer look but paired with knit tights and a cuter-than-pie baby sweater, kept her warm in between snuggles from mom and dad.

Running around with two munchkins all night made me realize how old my own girls are! It takes stamina to keep up with toddlers! But it was totally worth it. I love documenting this age, and can’t wait to work with this beautiful family again.
