Whidbey Island Beach Session | Seattle Family Photographer

Singing songs, climbing trees, running in and out of the surf. These are the things we do during family sessions. We play, we have fun, we make memories. Or rather - YOU make memories, and I capture them for you to hold on to for years to come. 

The Smith family was such a joy to document. Not only is mama also named "Kara" (we're special, magical unicorns), but I learned ALL about minecraft (I still have no idea what any of it means), talked about sewing (Kara made several of the outfits herself), and even won over a shy little baby brother. 

Each time I work with a family, I learn something new. About how people connect. About how parents care for their children. About what love looks like. It's so much more than pretty pictures.
