Sisters Session at Deception Pass State Park | Oak Harbor, WA Family Photographer

Four sisters and their darling cousin. Five lovely girls, as smart, sweet, and silly as they are beautiful - just frolicking around Deception Pass State Park. What a night we had playing together and romping around the beach. How lucky are they?! To have each other as lifelong friends and companions. 

I am so happy we were finally able to shoot this session, one that we had rescheduled five(!) times since January. But we clearly lucked out with the weather, and picked the most BEAUTIFUL night. The waves were crashing at the beach like I'd never seen before, and the colors of the sunset even matched their gorgeous outfits.

As mom and grandma hung back, beaming while watching their girls play and laugh, my mama heart made me think of my own girls. Some days I want them to be a bit bigger and more independent, but most days it feels like the time is slipping by too quickly. I wonder what lovely, smart, kind, and silly young women they will become. I can't wait to find out.
