Ali and Carl are the most smitten parents ever. They are absolutely head-over-heels in love with every inch of their new son Owen. From his itty bitty toes to his full head of gorgeous blond hair, Owen is pretty easy to love. 

I love the pace of lifestyle newborn sessions. When baby needs a break, we take a break. As Ali fed Owen, we talked about how she and Carl met, how they bought their first home, and the plans and projects they have as they make it their own. They spoke of their mutual love for the children's book My Father's Dragon, and how they can't wait to read it to Owen.

The hopes and dreams they have for their little man filled me up. It took me back to the early days of being a new parent, trying to figure out how to keep your baby happy and healthy, all on a few hours of sleep. It was such a pleasure to meet and document this sweet young family. What an exciting adventure they have ahead of them.
