Sweet and Simple In-Home Lifestyle Session | Oak Harbor, WA Newborn Photographer

Holy cow - this session was such a treat for me to shoot. As an Auntie to boy-girl twins, I have a special place in my heart for what an incredible miracle this family has been blessed with. 

I met Heather earlier this year when she joined our MOPS group and was assigned to my table. She fit in immediately and I quickly realized that Heather is one of those special people that you feel like you've known your whole life. Hearing Heather's story how she and Stewart recently moved cross-country, set up a new house in less than a week, and prepared to have their first children (twins!) - would give most people anxiety. But Heather and Stewart were overflowing with joy and gratitude for the blessings God was bringing into their lives. 

And what blessings arrived!! Sweet baby girl Isla and baby boy Waylon entered the world late in the evening on March 17th. They had a fairly easy delivery, and have pretty much been angels ever since. Meeting up at their home, and watching Heather and Stewart ooh and ahh over their babes was like, the best y'all. The babies were super easy-going and didn't really make a peep while I documented their snuggles, rocks, and coos with mama and dad. 

I'd say this is one blessed family, but they already know that. So instead I'll just say that I'm blessed to know them.
