Generations of Love | Extended Family Session at Fort Casey

Summertime Travels

Summertime on Whidbey Island inevitably brings tons of visitors and tourists, many of whom bring extended family members along to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries, and they often make a whole vacation out of it. That's right, I live in a vacation spot people!

The Best Birthday Gift

Lindsey put together the photo session as a gift to her mom, in honor of her 70th birthday. What a great daughter, right?! Their family had come together from across the Pacific Northwest to celebrate their mama, as she had grown up in Seattle, and had fond memories of visiting Whidbey Island with her family.

Everyone Gets a Gallery

I treat large family sessions (or "Extended Family Sessions" as I call them) a little differently than most photographers. Sure, everyone is going to want pictures as a group, but I also want to give each family their own mini session as well. Besides holding onto the memories of everyone's time together, I want each family to have images they can use and display to remember this stage of their own immediate family's journey.

Get in the Frame with Granny and Pop-Pop

If you're staying local this summer (and healthy!), why not gather the generations of your family together for a special portrait session? Trust me - everybody wins (and walks away with beautiful images!).

If you're hoping to book pictures this summer, my calendar is filling up fast! Contact me soon, friend!

(p.s. I'm shouting out another photographer and her beautiful work today! Rosa Clark is a San Luis Obispo photographer and her spring mini session images make me want to go on vacation to a warm, sunny beach - immediately! Check her out to friends!).
