Whidbey Island Sunset Beach Session | Oak Harbor Family Photographer

I have been dying to work with this beautiful family since I first met Suzanne through friends, the gym, and book club (we were meant to be friends!). And when I had the idea to shoot a promo video highlighting my process behind the scenes, the Phay fam instantly came to mind. Because they are as fun and vibrant as they are beautiful (seriously people, these are not models - this is a real family!!).

While my sweet friend Anastasia from June Bug Photography captured video of their session, I worked with Suzanne, Dave, and the kiddos as they snuggled, played, and ran on the beach.

I always have a shot list in my head for each session, and work through different prompts to create beautiful connection and intention within the frame, but my main concern is that you have fun together as a family. 

Because life pulls you in so many directions as is, family pictures should be a FUN experience - not work. And the pictures should tell a unique story of how you love each other, and how much you are loved.
